The B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. KGaA is a private banking company in Frankfurt, Germany. Metzler traces its origins to a trading company established 1674 by Benjamin Metzler in Frankfurt and is Germany’s second oldest bank (after Berenberg Bank) and the world's 6th oldest. Metzler provides financial services as a merchant bank, in securities transactions, as asset manager and a corporate finance consultant. Metzler has approximately 750 employees at its head office in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, and at its offices in Munich, Stuttgart, Bedburg, Hamburg, Los Angeles, Seattle, Tokyo, Beijing and Dublin.
